We’re a small but growing SaaS business in the animal breeding niche. We’re hiring a Software Tester to lead all manual and automated testing efforts for our software. This can be a part- or full-time position, and long-term, with a flexible schedule.
Here are some of the tasks you will be responsible for:
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Collaborate with the team to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Create and Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results
- Establish continuous deployment and integration functionality and ensure it continues functioning
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development team
- Monitor debugging process results
- Assist team to troubleshoot errors and issues
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products and systems work correctly.

What Skills Are Needed?
- You need to have immaculate attention to detail. We need to hear you asking questions whenever a test or debugging process doesn’t quite look or feel right, as you’ll be ensuring the debugging process is successful. Excellent written & spoken English comprehension is a must.
- Be a good
- A self-starter. We need to see some evidence that you’re passionate about quality assurance! You won’t have eyes looking over your shoulder on a day to day basis, you’ll be working in almost full autonomy. We’ll need to trust you to deliver the
The following skills/experience are also required:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Quick-learner, dependable, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Selenium, Katalon, or similar tools
- Proficient with Jira, Bitbucket, Slack, and Zoom
Extra awesome (but not required):
- Experience working at a remote tech company
- Knowledge of or experience with animal breeding or farming
- Experience with TDD
