Experienced React Developer

We require a Senior Front End developer to join our team of developers to work on our real estate platforms which are currently built on a Python/Django framework with a react front end. The site also powers a ReactNative app via REST API's.

The goal is to progressively make the site faster, build the balance of the pages of our site in React.JS utilizing NextJs, and eventually replace the entire site with it.

This is a full-time role for the right candidate.

You will have the opportunity to become a primary developer on the project, working alongside a team based mainly in Australia, the Philippines, and ---------- ndidate must have a strong understanding of how to optimize NextJs to meet google's page speed requirements, specifically:

- Identify bottlenecks on page performance
- Optimize React components
- Identify opportunities within the system to increase score

What you will need to do:

- Work on all front end tasks related to our platforms
- The pages will need to be fully responsive
- You will be able to commit all code to shared source control
- You will be able to communicate with the team and stakeholders with strong English via Slack and Hangouts
- You will have time to ensure you can communicate with the team.

Special consideration will need to be made to ensure the result is:

- Fast
- Follows best practice
- Fully responsive
- Bug-free
- Cross Browser and Cross device tested.

We are also looking to build out our network of freelancers for more ongoing and upcoming projects. Examples of successful projects using our technologies (Python/Django, Wagtail CMS, React Native) will be considered highly.
