We are a growing digital marketing company based in Sydney Australia that services a large number of clients and industries. As part of our offering, we build a combination of Marketing, eCommerce, Membership and interactive functional websites for our clients, based on the WordPress & WooCommerce platform. Job Description
We are seeking a Website Designer responsible for creating front-end design and layouts, with an understanding of what makes a clean & effective, high conversion website design. Utilise your knowledge of structured site design to provide concepts and pixel perfect designs whilst sourcing and placing suitable imagery (from client & stock) to support the brand and content presented.

Joining a small, friendly team, this role will have exposure to all areas of our business. Hence, an understanding and a willingness to get involved and communicate with website developers, project managers and digital marketers is a strong attribute to possess.

Responsibilities
• Designing frontend layouts & designs for WordPress & WooCommerce websites based upon
- existing Template Kits (Elementor based)
- provided stylesheets and generic inner page designs
- or from Scratch/Clean canvas
• Designing and sourcing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
• Designing and implementing strong user experience and conversion focused layouts and process flows
• Preparation of conceptual wireframe mock-ups
• Image manipulation and website graphics
• Liaising with project managers and developers to ensure sites are built as designed
• Autonomously managing your time to meet your deliverables on project work

About You
• 3+ years of web design experience
• A solid understanding of strong desktop and responsive design
• Excellent visual design skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design software – Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop at a minimum.
• An understanding of WordPress Elementor (in order to consider how your designs may be physically constructed)
• Strong and incomparable attention to detail
• A conceptual thinker – able to clearly articulate creative ideas & solutions
• Good written and verbal communications skills

Additional Desirable Skills (non mandatory)
• Experience with Elementor, Template Kits and WP themes based upon this software
• Previous experience using project management and communication tools (JIRA, Trello, Slack, Google Drive, Zoom etc)
• Animation skills using AfterEffects
