Technical Writer

We have a group of Canadian-based businesses involved in eCommerce and print-on-demand product fulfillment. We supply print-on-demand products directly from the source in China and the USA to our clients all over the world. We are a young, dynamic, and fast-growing company with teammates in various countries around the world.

We are looking for a Technical Writer that has the ability to understand our software and write clear and complete user documentation for a non-technical audience.. You will work collaboratively with developers, system testers, and usability experts.

We want to build long-term relationships with our members and work together on our goals for many years to come. We are big believers in the power of compounding over time which is why we just want to work with members that have the same intentions.


Responsibilities:

Setting up our user documentation repository, standards, and production process
Writing all new content
Proofreading other company material in English

Requirements:

Extremely good problem solver
High desire to learn and grow
Smart / Fast Learner / Resourceful
Communicate very well
Care to do the “right thing”
Previous experience as a technical writer and a portfolio to go with it
The ability to understand our software and write clear and complete user documentation for a non-technical audience
Strong written and verbal skills in US English
Proficiency in structuring a documentation project
Strong attention to detail
Logical and analytical thinking style
Self-management
Programming knowledge is a plus
Extremely Reliable
Available to work full time
Desire to work with a team for many years
Good attitude / good vibes
