JOB OVERVIEW

MBA student and entrepreneur seeks virtual assistant for personal life, school, business needs
— Inbox and calendar management; research; scheduling; misc. tasks

I am an MBA student and entrepreneur in the adult industry. Your day-to-day will be very tame, but if you are uncomfortable working with someone in the adult industry, please do not apply.

I'm looking for a loyal, ethical, and discreet full-time dedicated VA to assist with my personal and academic life. You will be answering emails, managing my calendar, and supporting routine elements of my life. The ideal candidate is organized, autonomous, and empathetic.

I may have other requests such as performing market research, cleaning data, organizing Dropbox, managing my social media presence, and light photo editing.

Bonus skills in order of desirability
- Ability to write business documents
- Experience building decks / presentations
- Experience applying for funding
- Project management experience
- Spreadsheet experience
- Photoshop/Illustrator experience is a plus, but not necessary

Schedule: You don’t have to be available on my time zone and you can work at your own pace with most daily tasks. I will let you know if there’s something that really can’t wait. If you need time off, please let me know in advance and I will accommodate.

Growth: Yes, there are opportunities for advancement. I will reward good work with raises and bonuses.

Assistant preferences
- I prefer my VA be an open-minded young woman as I believe this demographic is most understanding of my position and able to adopt the correct tone over social media / email. However, I’m open to anyone as long as they are non-judgmental.
Personality, intelligence, sincerity, and diligence are more important than experience.
- Your English writing must be superb. You will be communicating through writing often. It’s okay if you have a strong accent, are shy, or are uncomfortable speaking; phone calls are never required.
- You require little oversight and can work without being reminded.
- You are trustworthy, capable, organized, a creative problem solver, and dedicated to supporting me.
- You have a stable home life and consistent internet access. I'm sympathetic to emergencies, but I’m not in a position to handle a pattern of unreliability. I really need the work I delegate to be prioritized.
- You are comfortable coming to me with questions or telling me when there’s something you don’t understand. This is preferable to work not getting done or a task being mismanaged!
- If you think of a way to improve a process, please tell me. I would like my life to be the best it can be.
- I value my privacy and will be asking you to handle my personal data, so this position requires discretion and sound judgment. I will be using Bitwarden to share passwords. I may give you access to one of my VoIP lines so we can share a phone number. I prefer to text over Signal.
- I will be using Asana to coordinate our work and streamline my delegation.

To apply for the job:

1. Change the subject line to "I want to work for you — [insert the name of a company founded by a Booth alumnus in the last 10 years]"

2. At the top of your message write a few sentences on why you would like this position and why you are a good fit.

3. Under that please include the following:
