WordPress Developer

We are a leading industry marketing and design agency with a small remote professional team all experienced with a variety of clients. We are looking for a fast, detailed-oriented contractual WordPress Themes coder that is able to dedicate at least 20 hours a week to our projects and will be around for a long time.

The right candidate will build out WordPress custom themes taking PSDs created by our design team and turn them into standards-compliant WordPress sites with clean code that follow WordPress's documented ---------- addition to creating themes, you will also be required to make website updates and edit sites on websites that have already been built.

Required Skills:

4+ years making WordPress sites
Must be fast and super detail-oriented
Understanding of SEO principles is a must
Experience with Bootstrap as a framework
Does not mind doing both new coding and fixing and updating current sites -- website updates can be monotonous.

Availability during normal Colorado, USA business hours a MUST!
Attention to Detail –we pride ourselves on great products and doing the little things means a lot to our customers.
Advanced knowledge of and experience with WordPress as a CMS, including plugin installation and troubleshooting abilities

Proficient in CSS, HTML, PHP, and JavaScript coding
Good understanding of Responsive design
Good understanding of ADA design
Must understand shortcodes, can write to the functions files, and know-how the loop works

Does not mind working independently, (and can stay motivated) - you will be part of a remote team

Must have your own setup, PC or Mac is fine - this is a contracting position you cover your own internet and computer expenses
