SEO Marketer

I'm looking to hire an SEO Marketer to support my client work (I provide SEO services to ecommerce brands all over the world) as well as with a few projects I am currently working on. You won't need to speak directly to any clients, you'll be helping me execute the work.

You don't need to be the best SEO in the world, but a decent understanding of how SEO works and a true willingness to learn is what is essential for this role. I'd love it if you were constantly asking me questions about SEO to improve your own knowledge to become a better ---------- sential Skills:
- Fantastic English - all my clients and audience are English speaking
- Great attention to detail - my clients have very high standards
- Decent knowledge of all SEO principles - you know some cool link building tactics, and understand that content is crucial
- You've built links and ranked websites for some keywords in the past (and able to give examples)
- Excellent researcher - you know how to Google and find an answer to anything
- Knowledge of Wordpress - my projects and multiple clients are using Wordpress so this is crucial

Must also have a reliable internet connection and desktop/laptop at home

Non-essential (but nice to have) Skills:
- Knowledge of more technical SEO elements such as hreflang
- Social media marketing experience (both posting & engaging)
- Previous use of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console

Examples of tasks you may undertake as part of this role:
- Conducting in-depth keyword research using Ahrefs
- Mapping redirects of old URLs to new URLs as part of a website migration
- Finding outreach targets and their contact details as part of a link building campaign
- Competitor analysis to find gaps for new content or link building opportunities
- Uploading content to Wordpress, ensuring it is fully optimized for the target keyword(s)

You will receive full training on the exact workflows and processes to follow. We'll primarily communicate asynchronously via Slack.

The initial rate of $650/month is a starter baseline and will steeply rise (+ bonuses) with high-quality work.
