JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking long-term content manager for our pastry and baking media platform. We are US based and need someone who can be available around day time hours in Eastern Standard Time (does not have to be the full day, but communicating with people during daytime hours is essential).

Someone with superb English communication abilities as you will be interfacing with high level professionals on our behalf.

You will be gathering content from different sources (web, social media, contacting people/companies) and formatting (editing when required) so the content can be used within our platform - magazine, newsletter, blog posts, etc.

Overall, the job requires excellent organization to manage multiple content types at a time (examples below).

To note, the job is primarily researching, coordinating with people/companies to gather content and editing as opposed to writing original content, but if you know how to write, that is a plus.

Here are examples of content curation:

1. Contact cookbook authors for guest posts
2. Contact companies for guest posts
3. Find press releases and post to website
4. Find newsworthy items to share in newsletter
5. Contact pastry/baking shops to be featured (and send questions for them to answer via email)
6. Contact pastry/baking professionals to be featured (and send questions for them to answer via email)

We want someone long-term for this project with opportunity to get more involved. Though we are only two years old, we are growing pretty quickly (225,000 followers).

BONUS SKILLS

1) If you have Wordpress expertise to post the content on our Wordpress site 2) If you know how to add content to an email newsletter (we use Mailchimp and have templates already) 3) If you understand keywords/SEO to optimize web content 4) If you understand digital marketing in general (funnels) 5) If you are adept at using/managing social media (we use ---------- to schedule) as some of the content could be purposed as social posts.

These are not required but highly desirable.
