Part-time Video Editors (remote and open to new graduates!)

Hello there!

I am posting this in behalf of our CEO, Erick, for a start-up called Cartesi that builds smart contracts with mainstream software stacks.

I am looking for freelance video editors who can help me with my personal projects and ad hoc campaigns (not necessarily inline with my company).

I am based in Taiwan, but you can be based anywhere in the world as long as we are able to work for a few hours together.

The rate of payment for this role is US$ 15-30 per hour, depending on experience and the level of difficulty for the project, for around 30-60 hours per month.

Responsibilities:

Manipulate and edit film pieces, at the same time trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the ---------- put music, dialogues, graphics and effects and create rough and final cuts.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Improve video and sound quality using various video software.
Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project.

Requirements:

This role is open to new graduates in arts, videography, graphic design, or any related degrees/courses who are looking to build their portfolio and broaden their experience.
Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut).
Creative mind and storytelling ---------- n commit to a part-time or freelance basis.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
