We are looking for an analytical accounts receivable professional to assist our accounting department as it receives, processes, and collects goods sold or services
To succeed as an accounts receivable professional, you should be a skilled and thorough researcher with excellent communication and record-keeping skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with strong math and computer skills.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Maintain precise records of all incoming payments.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable - ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
- Audit all receipts on a determined schedule to ensure accuracy in accounting.
- Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed.
- Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments.
- Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
- Generating invoices and account statements.
- Performing account reconciliations.
- Generating reports and statements for internal use.
- Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
- Maintaining an up-to-date filing system.
- Various ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience in an agency or in-house role
- Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software. such as Xero.
- Proven Accounts Receivable job experience.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting receivable principles.
- Relevant experience using modern communication systems, including
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle potential tense interactions with clients
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
- Proficiency in English, MS Office, and Google Sheets.
- Effective problem-solving skills and time management
- Exceptional attention to detail
- An ability to work independently.
- Must be reliable & proactive.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, work in a team, and autonomously
Desirable:
- Xero Certified.
- A Certified Public Accounting title may be preferred
