Data Annotator / Labeler

We are looking for an amazing data labeler with high English proficiency. On a weekly basis, we will send you datasets with instructions on how to classify each entry of the dataset. We are interested in retaining a labeler in a longer-term arrangement if the output labels are high quality.

Your work is part of a largely impactful effort to help amazing small businesses (many of whose digital storefronts you get to visit in some of our first few projects!). We couldn't do it without you and appreciate how much thought you put into your work!

Experience: Entry-level. Background in e-commerce is a plus previous experience labeling data for machine-learning and modeling application. Must have high English reading comprehension and be a good communicator.

Payment: 40 hours a week, at $2.80 per hour. We will also offer bonuses for high-accuracy labels with quick turnaround.

Interview process: Selected applicants will have a video call interview for both sides to meet and to go over the details of the job. Applicants will be given a small test dataset (time commitment of ~1 hour) to label. If performance is good, we'll start a paid 1 week probation period. If performance for the first week is good, we'll transition to a long term contracting relationship.
