Job Purpose
A designer effectively translates a set of requirements or concept into a visually appealing, well-marked up, functional design which we then package efficiently to the next step of development.


Creative Developer Overview
A Creative Developer is accountable in effectively interpreting user stories or cases into working prototypes for implementation. Part of this deliverable is ensuring accurate brand guides, desktop and mobile designs and other collaterals - while maintaining quality, alignment and completeness of each design project.
He must perform duties with minimal supervision. Must have a critical mind in dealing with UI/UX problems. Should be collaborative to foster creativity and teamwork.


Responsibilities

Core
• Responsible for keeping the Binary Anvil Brand intact and consistent. Maintenance of work quality and implementation of standards in all design areas and projects
• Be able to understand design requirements and how to translate them into UI

Design
• Must take into account UX, usability of designs and RWD
• 100% compliance on design requirements, set templates and brand guidelines

Hand off
• Ensure clean raw files, with minimal or no error, organized and labelled according to set standards
• Deliver complete design and prototypes

Qualifications & Experience

Education
• A graduate on any of the following any Bachelor of Art and Sciences, Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.

Professional Designations
• Design / Creative certificates, classes or courses are a plus
• Magento ecommerce certificates are preferred but not required upon hire. You will be encouraged to obtain a Magento certification within 6 months of employment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Knowledge/familiarity/understanding of web development and ecommerce
• Knowledge/familiarity/understanding of Figma, Adobe CS, Adobe XD, Concepts of Prototyping.
• Knowledge/familiarity/understanding of Responsive Web Design.
• Knowledge/familiarity/understanding of the functional capabilities of ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Demandware (Commerce Cloud), SAP Hybris, Shopify, Big Commerce, Woo Commerce
• Knowledge/familiarity/understanding of Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence
• Knowledge/familiarity/understanding of Microsoft Office Software
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be able to travel both domestically and international with no entry restrictions
• Be able to communicate effectively with clients
• Be able to communicate effectively with onshore and offshore creative developers whose second language is English.

Required Experience
An ideal candidate will possess the experience listed below or an equivalency
• 2+ years of experience working as a Creative Developer
• 1+ years of experience working with design teams
• 1+ years of experience working with software / web development teams
• Experience working in ecommerce industry is a plus
• Experience with Magento is a plus
• Experience working with development teams from other countries is a plus
