Game Designer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Craft fun, quality designs that are appropriate to genre, demographic, and platform
• Adjust designs as necessary in response to feedback and evaluation
• Write through and complete feature documentation
• Communicate designs clearly to other team members
• Work with the development team to ensure timely design buy-in
• Work with programmers to flush out and implement features on a regular basis
• Perform other or similar related duties as necessary

Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrate a high level of creativity and innovation in design and implementation
• Passion for playing and making games
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure independently and meet tight deadlines
• Clear understanding of what fun is and how to achieve it in game designs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English is a plus.
• Familiar with the majority of games released in the past 5 years is a plus.
• Maintain an awareness of trends in popular culture such as television, film, and music.
• Passion for online games and the desire to have fun while you work is a plus.
