Stick Shift Driving Academy is looking to immediately hire a content writer to write about a variety of topics concerning manual transmission cars. To be successful at this position, prior knowledge of manual transmission and SEO content writing is required.

We expect to hire at least 4 salespeople, 3 admins, and 3 marketers in 2021.
Growing FAST - We sold 931 lessons in 2020 and we're on pace to sell 1987 lessons in 2021
A small team of 2 Americans and 4 Filipinos.
We sell manual transmission driving lessons in the United States. Yes, really.
100% inbound leads from Organic Search (SEO). We don't do any outbound cold Upgrade to see actual info competition - in 90% of the markets we serve, we have no competitors. Because of this, our sale is pretty easy to Upgrade to see actual infoasurable Goals of this Role
Increase rankings in Google for local search queries

Duties and Responsibilities
Write blog and articles about topics related to cars and manual transmissions
Write 10,000 words per week
Optimize and edit content for SEO
Follow guidelines in the content brief
Edit content according to feedback from content strategist

Requirements
MUST know how to drive a manual transmission
MUST have at least 2 years of SEO blog & content writing experience
MUST have a proven track record of success in improving local keyword rankings.
We expect you to have a strong understanding of how to naturally utilize tough, geo-specific keywords in your content.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent English communication and comprehension
Ability to multitask and adhere to weekly quotas
Highly creative
Strong problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits
$5 to $11 per hour commensurate with experience
