If you are an experienced WordPress developer based in the Philippines we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of 9 Filipino developers.

We are offering you a full-time position to code websites from the comfort of your own home, for a world-class website agency, Upgrade to see actual info

We have been building websites for our clients for years on the Genesis framework, using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and more recently using Elementor.

We offer you the opportunity to:
- Custom code WordPress websites for a range of clients, so they can have a bigger impact on the world.

You must have great knowledge of the following...
- Know how to code mobile responsive websites on the Genesis framework for WordPress using Elementor & ACF.
- Are experienced in splicing from Adobe XD design files.
- Have an understanding of Elementor and its advanced plugins.
- Have an understanding of the Genesis framework, hooks & filters, separation of main styles & custom styles.
- Have an understanding of Hosting cPanel functionalities, FTP, MySQL, phpMy Admin, Domain management.
- Know HTML / CSS & W3C coding standards, PHP, Javascript, Jquery coding languages.
- Are familiar with basic SEO setup like headings placements, backlinks
- Have experience with the WP Engine hosting platform.
- Are familiar with domain registrars and hosting cPanel
- Have experience with WooCommerce.

You will have an advantage if you have the following knowledge on how to speed up websites:
- Have a good understanding of Google page insights and how to follow their recommendations, especially on mobile.
- Familiar with Caching and optimization plugins like wpRocket and Autooptimize
- Able to check if images are optimized properly and if the page is utilizing .svg and favicons
- Check if the fonts are set up properly and preloaded
- Familiar with the YOAST SEO plugin
- Able to do research by yourself if you encounter challenges
- Must be familiar with ACF and Elementor
- Knowledge in PHP and Javascript

You will need to:
- Be self-motivated & reliable.
- Work at a reasonably fast pace.
- Have fast & reliable computer & internet connection
- Have access to Adobe XD
- Work full-time on weekdays only and within standard business hours.
- Commit to a full-time position with the goal to work with us for at least two years.
- Be ethical, be a team player, and be a good communicator.
- Be available for Zoom or Skype calls with the other 6 developers on our team.
- Have occasional Zoom or Skype calls with our clients when needed.
- Have good English speaking & writing skills.

We are an Australian business that has an excellent reputation for designing and building custom websites for clients all around the world.

***Note: We are looking for experienced developers only, NOT designers. We have a separate design team.***

The position will start with a fully paid full-time 4 week trial period, (Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm Filipino time) to see how well you work. If your performance and talent are suitable we will offer you a permanent full-time position.
