Job Description
The Product Manager, in this role, for the company, is the PM and the owner, responsible for the software for the FoodZaps Technology Company. The company’s product is mainly the POS software and the various integrated software products such as QR code menu, cashless checkout, etc. The PM must help the company move quickly to add software that is well-proven with the customers into the FoodZaps portfolio.

The PM’s role includes: 1) Set product strategy; 2) Defining releases; 3) Managing the product development process funnel from evaluating ideas, prioritizing the features, to delivery of the product; 4) Building and communicating the strategic roadmaps; 5) Analysing and reporting on progress.

Reporting Relationships
The position reports to the CEO for the short-term but works very closely, daily, with the CTO, the Managing Director, sales, marketing, and customer service.

Specific Daily/ Weekly Accountabilities
? Define the product strategy and roadmap.
? Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
? Collect, manage, and maintain traceability of requirements from all stakeholders across product releases.
? Write Product Requirements and Market Requirements documents
? Be the recognized expert in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology, and the competition.
? Develop core positioning and messaging for the product.
? Perform product demos to customers and develop relationships in key clients)
? Lead the virtual product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives.
? Monitor, report and improve product performance.
? Run trials and MVPs, develop, and deliver go to market launch plans.
? Collate feedback from sales and customers.
? Represent the voice of the customer in senior level management meetings.
? Evangelize the product internally and externally.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Extensive and deep software product management experience as a leader or a junior leader.
- Must be aware and fully aligned to the emerging software technology, trends, and architecture, not of the ‘old-school.’
- Minimum of 7+ years’ experience as a Product Manager in a software PM role
- Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent software products.
- 7+ years of experience in a position in the POS or the F&B software subscriptions business is preferred.
- Must have learned from great/good companies and great/good bosses that have run a great product management process and product successes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in IT, CS, Software engineering
- Technical background, with experience in software
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
