Summary:
Our 13-year-old, family-owned, insurance brokerage is looking for a full-time virtual assistant to help us with routine customer service and data entry tasks, as well as SharePoint administration. Required Availability:
Mon - Fri: 8-hour shifts between 7 am to 7 pm PST (GMT -8)
Preferred Availability:
Sat 9 am to 2 pm
Job Responsibilities:

- Receive incoming calls from clients collect data to process changes, etc
- Collect necessary info from caller to add/change vehicle
- Process a Certificate of insurance, Collect a payment, Send Insurance ID cards, and much more
- Agency Management/Data Entry
> Creation and sending of Certificates of Insurance
> Filling all types of Acord Forms
> General data entry and filling of forms
> Proposal, Rating & Quoting
> Gathering Initial insurance quotes from customers/prospects
> Complete quotes on carrier page
> Prepare proposals and applications for new and renewal clients
Minimum Requirements:
- Internet Speed: 10 Mbits/sec down, 5 Mbits/sec up (if your current speed doesn't meet this requirement, we can discuss reimbursing for you an upgrade)
- PC with a minimum of 8 GB of RAM, webcam, noise-canceling headset. The applicant will share PC Benchmark test (we will consider supplying highly qualified applicant with upgraded hardware)
- Ability to work consistent 8-hour shifts without major interruptions and privacy concerns (you will be handling sensitive information that should not be heard/seen by others)
- Desire to work in this position long-term.
- Preferably within Metro Manila
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn quickly and hit the ground running
- Serious problem-solving skills (we need someone who can think creatively and outside the box about problems and take action!)
- Must be tech or computer-savvy
- ENGLISH PROFICIENCY: C2
- Basic Knowledge of Office 365 products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook
- Stellar verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Team-player that also works well independently
- Monitor task/project progress and handle any issues that arise
- The ideal candidate is sharing techniques and best practices with us to keep us more organized than we can be ourselves. We're looking for someone who can improve on our existing processes and systems.
- This is not just a task pushing role, but the ideal candidate is just as good at executing tasks as he or she is delegating and training others on how to perform the task.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in talking with clients and vendors over the phone
- Previous experience working for an insurance agency
- Spanish speaker
