SEO Strategist (e-commerce) - 2 days per week

HSG is a growing retailer of hobby products in the UK. We operate three e-commerce storefronts for different hobby products.

We're looking for a part-time SEO specialist to optimise our three e-commerce websites. The role is for 2 days per week (16 hours). Salaries are paid bi-weekly by Transferwise.

You will be provided access to SEO research tools such as Ahrefs or Alexa in order to:

- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings
- Find and implement new valuable backlinks.
- Own the KPI of organic traffic & conversions, your target will be to continually improve this over time.
- Optimise Meta Descriptions on product and category webpages.
- Produce relevant blog content.
- Feedback on relevant improvements to the rest of the team.

Qualifications:
- Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Experience with SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Alexa or Moz.
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Experience with other aspects of marketing like social media and newsletter (organic marketing), customer growth and promotion, is a plus
- Time and Screen tracking through Timedoctor 2 is required.
