Online jewelry categorization

Apply your jewelry knowledge to our product line to help categorize and publish new products. This job requires jewelry knowledge primarily relating to ring design, structure, and the proper categorization of design elements. Please do not apply if you do not have previous jewelry training or experience in a professional capacity.

We have a growing catalog of new products that have never been published, or that were published previously and need to be updated. We now use an existing computer program that formats the raw product information to 80?curacy, but we need a consistent human eye with jewelry knowledge to supplement that and take the product information to 100?curacy before publishing. We will provide visual examples of our terminology so that it can be applied consistently throughout the new product line. This will require an ability to look at visual images of a ring design and make sure that
- the written description and product title are both accurate
- the product tags (used for back-end product sorting) are accurate and complete (which may mean adding new tags or removing incorrect tags)

This work will be completed online within our ecommerce store in Shopify. We will train you specifically on the exact process to take each product from start to finish, but we are not able to teach the jewelry knowledge. We are looking for a professional with existing jewelry experience/knowledge, not just an enthusiast ready to learn. Previous jewelry experience and understanding is required. Please do not apply if you do not have previous jewelry training. That could mean any of the following: professional bench jeweler/apprentice, jewelry design and creation, 3D CAD jewelry design, jewelry sales/retail, etc.

There are approximately 500 products awaiting implementation and we estimate 15-20 minutes per product (we can complete the process accurately in this time). This is not expected to be full-time work because there is a daily data limitation for the process, but we estimate 2-4 hours a day for 8-16 weeks to completion. After that there will be ongoing work as we add new products, but fewer hours per week ongoing.
