Part-time Digital/Email Designer for Growing Email Marketing Agency (10-15 hours per month)

We're a client-first, results-driven email marketing agency that needs more creative hands onboard!

Why you're a fit:
You already know how good you are at designing emails that are interesting and engaging to customers. Furthermore, you feel comfortable using creativity to generate new templates, express a brand's design through email, and be communicative with a copywriter and the rest of our team.

If you have the passion and expertise for getting the delivery of these beautiful messages through your designs, then this is a role that will suit you well.

More about the role:
• Design and creation - Designing revising email templates in Adobe XD or Sketch; the emails will cover a range of activity from simple, non-dynamic promotional emails, to communications with complex dynamic content. The content of each email will range by industry, intent (sales & promotions), retention, etc.
• Collaboration - You will work asynchronously with a writer and regularly communicate with them and the co-founders (me and my partner) to ensure the emails are delivered on time
• Quality and compliance - Each email produced by our agency undergoes a revision process with the client, so they should be produced with the highest quality in mind. We pride ourselves on this!
• Quick turnaround - You can work on your own time and will have a timeline of emails, but occasionally we may ask you to design an email with a quick turnaround time (within 24 hours on weekdays)
• Innovation and imagination - This is where your creativity shines! Email designing is not a hard science, so we encourage you to use your creative freedom, so long as it falls within each client's brand guidelines.

What we're looking for:
• You are a highly motivated individual with 1+ year of experience working as a graphic designer
• Proven creative and technical email design and creation skills
• Experience in Adobe XD or Sketch (or ability to learn quickly)
• Ability to communicate through Slack
• Ability to work on Asana
• Knowledge about dynamic email content (Klaviyo experience is a plus)
• Strong project / timeline management skills; proven ability to meet critical deadlines
• Proven experience within an ecommerce environment
• Strong understanding and appreciation of design fundamentals such as type, color, layout and imagery creation/optimization
