Job Description

The Accounting Compliance Associate will provide an integral support to the Accounting and Finance Team by helping the Accounting Manager on statutory compliance filings as mandated by the Philippine government which includes, but not limited to, SEC, BIR, LGUs, SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig. He/she will be a vital POC for all compliance and tax related matters of the company, together with the Accounting Manager. The said candidate is responsible for the timely compliance and submission of accurate and correct reports to the mentioned government agencies. He/she is also expected to be updated on the latest matters affecting the statutory compliances of the Company, and conversant with existing statutory regulations.

Mandatory Qualifications:
• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 3 years of rigid working experience in Philippine statutory compliance especially in filing the required returns and paying the dues accordingly
• With working knowledge on the current applicable laws affecting statutory compliances of a Philippine company
• Meticulous attention to details
• Ability to work efficiently without close supervision
• Security clearance required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Can interpret statutory requirements, procedures, and compliance and can anticipate its impact to the business
• Has a transfer pricing experience
• Has an experience in bookkeeping, FS compilation, and BIR audit
• Good research skills
• Strong verbal and written English skill
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet

Technical Requirements:
- Good computer setup with Chrome browser
- legitimate Windows 10 OS
- minimum of 8GB RAM
- minimum processor: Intel: i3 7th gen, Intel: i5 4th gen, AMD: A8 - 5000 series and higher, AMD Ryzen 3 series - 2200 G and higher
- Stable high-speed wired internet connection (at least 10-20Mbps)
- Install a centralized device management software (company provided) to your computer for account security purposes
