Google Sheets Expert

My task is needing multiple GOOGLE spreadsheets to communicate with each other. Also, I need to be able to pull data based on a name drop down. So if I open a new sheet and I select a name it pulls all the data from the other sheet relating to that ---------- will be easiest to explain over a zoom or skype call and screen share.
