About Us:
We are an environmental consulting firm providing asbestos assessments, lead-based paint assessments, mold inspections, water damage assessments, and indoor air quality consulting services for residential and commercial properties for both private and public entities throughout the US.

Opportunity:
Our main office in Las Vegas, Nevada is currently looking for a dedicated and motivated Environmental Report Writer / Admin Assistant. This new addition to our staff does not need experience, as this is an entry-level position with great growth potential. We will train the right person. This position is ideal for a college student majoring in environmental science, construction, or a related area of study or experience, who has the desire to build a career in the environmental field.

Duties:

Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical environmental reports daily by using our premade templates in our HomeGauge software for our consulting team.

Reviewing and revising reports with oversight from licensed consultants, and emailing reports to consultants or adding to a report queue, along with other related tasks.

Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems, system operations, testing, and user documentation.

Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.

Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.

Publish and maintain templates for written digital report templates documentation produced by others (technical specifications, RFP responses, etc.), ensuring a consistent "look and feel."

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and able to rapidly learn and use new programs, as well as being flexible as important technological and procedural changes are implemented in our business.

The applicant must have excellent writing skills in English, including a strong grasp of professional Business English, and the ability to learn and correctly use technical language.

Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill.

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

Ability to read some programming code.

Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, or video conference

Other requirements are problem-solving, initiative, office etiquette, staying focused on tasks and accountability when working alone, and the ability to work well with others in a diverse workplace. Environmental and/or construction knowledge is a plus. This staff member must have reliable.
