Booth and Partners' looking for Payroll and Benefits Specialist:
• Preparing bi-weekly payroll for two companies
• Administering employment paperwork, I-9, W-4
• Making sure all benefits programs are integrated correctly into Gusto
• Reviewing billing for all benefits programs on a monthly basis
• Managing leave administration as needed
• Administering benefit programs for two companies
• Manage Cobra plan and participants
• You will be the liaison with insurance carriers/brokers and employees to resolve issues
• Being the point of contact for employees for all benefits/payroll related questions
• Coordinating and administering annual open enrollment
• Coordinating all onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Monitoring HR/Payroll inboxes for two companies
• Responding to all HR-related inquiries outside the company(ies) – Unemployment verifications, employment verifications.
• Managing subscriptions for Peterson’s for employees (Adobe, Microsoft Office, etc)
• Assisting in creating and completing all compliance-related reporting for all benefit plans
• Assisting in creating journal entries and reconciliations for all payroll/benefit related accounts
• Creating and updating benefits manuals for both companies
• Maintaining and updating travel and expense policies for both companies
Requirements
• Experience with Gusto payroll preferred
• 3+ years of experience in payroll/benefits administration
• Associates degree or accounting background a +
• MSOffice (Outlook, Word, Excel) and GSuite (Google Docs, Gmail)
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Quick learner and critical thinker who can work independently
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of customers (internal and external)
• Ability to maintain the confidential nature of the information by protecting employee privacy
• Experience meeting frequent deadlines
• With US Payroll and benefits background
• Able to work from 9am - 6pm Mountain Time
• Understanding US Benefits plan is more important than US payroll
