About the job position

We are looking for individuals (40 hours/week) who are interested in the position of “Online news article writer/ Teacher for discussion”. Teaching experience is not required, but we require someone who has a high level of English such as C1 or C2. If you don’t have the skill like C1 or C2, of course, you can still apply for the position, but we will check your grammar and pronunciation on the job interview. We believe personality is the most important thing to work with us, so if you are not confident in English, please let us know. We might consider working with you. Actually, our company has just started, and we would like to grow with future co-workers. Therefore, we recommend young people to work with us.

We will ask you to write news articles, so you might research for it. After making the articles, we may ask you to read your article aloud, so speaking skill is very necessary. You might feel you are like a news announcer. Then, you will use your articles and have discussions with your students. You can teach the meaning of the words that you use in your article, or you might get some questions from your students. You will work with an English teacher for your discussion class for the first 3 months, so you don’t need to worry about teaching skills. Our company is located in Tokyo, Japan, but soon we hope your class will be diverse. Our target is not only Japanese but also Asian people.

At the same time, we have the project to help Filipinos who are suffering the food or necessities. If you work at our company, we will save money as a donation for them. We are now thinking to buy some food for poor children, so if you are interested in some volunteering work, why don’t you work with us!

Working hours

Mon-Fri: 2 pm-11 pm PST (8 hours and 1-hour break from 6 pm to 7 pm)
Sat-Sun: 2 pm-11 pm PST (8 hours and 1-hour break from 6 pm to 7 pm)

**Note**
You must work 40 hours a week, so you can choose 5 days to work with us. However, you need to work either Saturday or Sunday, so your working day will be chosen 4 weekdays and 1 day for the weekend. If you are able to work both Saturday and Sunday, we will be happy about that.

Salary system
-----------------------------
Everyone must start from 20,000 pesos (40h/w).
After working with us for 6 months, your salary will be increased by 25,000 pesos.
You have opportunities to increase your salary by 5,000 pesos every 6 months. At that time, you have the interview, but if you work seriously, please don't worry. You will never fail for the job interview.
Your salary will be increased to 150,000 pesos.


Q: Why do we want to increase your salary?

We would like to protect the lifestyles of Filipinos working at SEKAEL by raising their salaries to the average of Japanese. We would like to help poor children in the Philippines, but if we don't care about our employees’ lifestyle. We believe it will never reach our goal. Also, we would like to work with you for a long time, so if you want to come to Japan or want to work in Japan in the future, we buy the round airplane ticket to come to Japan and give you the place to stay in Japan for a week or a month after you work with us for 36 months. At that time, if you want to work in Japan, and if you don't get money as same as Japanese standard workers, you won't be able to work in Japan. Therefore, we make this salary system.

Requirements:

7. The person who is living in the Philippines now
8. You must work either Saturday or Sunday.
9. You need to have high English skills such as C1 or C2.
10. Someone who checks emails at least 3 times a day.
11. Some who are responsible for work.
12. People who are able to report, discuss, and communicate effectively
13. People who like English grammar, reading, and speaking.

-English teaching experience isn’t necessary because you will start as a trainee.
