Job Overview:
We are a US-based company looking for a full-time, home-based Content Marketing & Social Media VA..
We are seeking a creative individual with exceptional written language skills such as headline and copywriting to help build an audience and engagement on all our social media channels.
You will work directly for our Brand and Social Media Manager and interact with the company CEO as well as the Director of Operations. We have been in the eCommerce business for over 20 years with an office in Southern California. This position is for someone who enjoys creating in Canva, copywriting, and learning a lot!
You'll create graphics using Canva and create a road map to share all content (graphics, articles, blog posts, and content created by others in the company) that will drive audience growth and engagement to increase followers on all platforms.
You'll be responsible for developing relationships with influencers, finding guest blogs, creating and using IFTTT Pro recipes as well as other tools to create and implement a systematic approach to content distribution.
The position also includes communicating with customers, fans, and/or related businesses through social media by way of comments, likes, mentions, and/or shares. All correspondence online should be posted and/or shared according to our brand voice and excellent customer service skills.
The following KPIs may be measured on a scheduled basis to determine performance.

* Average Engagement Rate / Social Channel
* Average CTR of Posts
* Number of Mentions
Your daily responsibilities would include:
The Basics:
* Understanding KPIs and defining them specifically for social media
* Collaborating with the social media coordinator to provide attractive and informative campaigns
* Keeping up with technologies used in social media
* Using and understanding social media marketing tools
* Ability to do keyword research for relevant trends in the industries we serve
* Ability to write exceptional headlines and post copy
* Ability to research and know when and what emojis and hashtags to use
Social Influencing:
* Increase engagement across all social media channels assigned to you
* Increase traffic across all social media channels assigned to you
* Increase Website Traffic to both the Searchbug website and blog
* Increase Searchbug brand awareness
* Help to generate leads and/or grow the company
Social Networking
* Earn media mentions through networking with businesses in Searchbug related industries and/or popular influencers in the technology industry

You will be highly considered if you have:
* Excellent knowledge of GMB, Quora,
* Have a minimum of 2-years experience managing social media accounts
* 2 Years experience designing content
* 2 years experience managing content for an e-Commerce site or WordPress blog
* Understand social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and some SEO
It’s also important that you know how to use the applications we listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them or a fast learner.
* Web research using search engines like Google, Duckduckgo, Bing, etc
* Zoho writer (works the same as Google Docs and Microsoft Word so if you know one of those, you can easily learn Zoho Writer)
* Zoho Sheet (works the same as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel so if you know one of those, you can easily learn Zoho Sheet)
* Gmail and other
* Google Calendar
* Communications apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Cliq (it’s like Slack but from Zoho), FB messenger, Google Meet, Zoom, etc
* Project management software (Evernote, Trello)
* Screen capture software (web clipper, Nimbus)
What you'll use the applications for:

* Zoho Cliq - for talking with the team and keeping management up to date
* Zoho Writer - for drafting content for social posts
* Zoho Sheets - for organization and structure of posts needed and job expectations
* WordPress - for posting blogs, editing or updating link exchanges, proving appropriate content to others for backlinks.
This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position
Work hours are flexible but you must be available at least 3 - 4 hours a day for training during the first 90 days and an ongoing weekly meeting, weekdays between the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Pacific Time (12:30 pm - 8:30 am Manila Time).
You’ll qualify for 3 vacation leaves and 3 sick leaves after the 6 month probation period.
We honor most Filipino holidays except for All Saints and All Souls Day
The starting salary is $750 USD monthly. We will pay you bi-weekly via
Once you complete your 6 months probation, you will get:
