JOB OVERVIEW

The Marketing Manager will take charge of laying the groundwork for establishing the marketing agency’s online presence and take off from there—with minimal supervision from the ---------- om the design of the website up to development, putting together some startup marketing campaigns to drive awareness and lead-generation, through to making sure the required copy, creatives, and analytics reports are in the right places; the Marketing Manager will set everything in motion and manage all requirements through to completion.

The Requirement:

While the candidate is not expected to perform all tasks mentioned above to be considered, they must somehow have a good mix of creative, editorial, strategic, and analytical skills, with very good leadership qualities to succeed with this role.

And to qualify, you must be ANY ONE or A COMBINATION of two or more of the following requirements:

1. A skilled content writer and strategist who can write blogs, promotional articles, ebooks, social media updates, marketing/ad copies, etc, AND/OR at least someone who can put together content plans and strategies, and direct writers to produce specific pieces of content, as may be required from time to time.

2. Very good in project management who can manage projects, people, workflows, processes, time, and budget with ease, confidence, and accuracy.

3. A marketing strategist who enjoys zooming out to see the bigger picture and put together plans and strategies to achieve campaign goals on-time, and on-budget.

4. Someone who enjoys marketing research and technically adept with numbers and data, who can generate insights from their research work and use them for developing more informed strategies and plans.

5. A marketing generalist who is experienced in practically every area of marketing, i.e. research, strategy, communications, digital technology, automation, among others.

6. A creative thinker, innovator, problem-solver, risk-taker, data-driven, and a highly ambitious marketer who always wants to succeed, but at the same time, have the humility to accept failures as an opportunity for learning.

7. Knowledge of and actual experience in running digital marketing campaigns, either as a freelancer or a full-time employee of small-to-medium sized businesses in retail, media, software-as-a-service, health & wellness, and related verticals.

8. Updated with the latest trends in SEO/SEM, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Conversion Rate Optimization, Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, Inbound Marketing, HubSpot Implementation, etc.
