Webmaster/SEO with Initiative & Motivation

We have a shopping portal website (created with Magento) that was created by someone else that we are no longer happy with. This website has a 16 year old domain name, therefore it ought to be easy to get organic traffic and search results. We are looking for a person that knows Magento, is familiar with PHP scripts as this website gets updated daily via php from our suppliers. The person that previously worked on the site has no understanding about SEO, so this is high on our priority list. Every page on the website needs to be optimised. Complete Meta information is missing form site.

We are looking for someone who can work with only a minimum of input from ourselves. We would instruct you and then expect to talk (not type-chat) on Skype with you once a day to sync your efforts with ours.

Here are just a few of the issues that need to be sorted out:

Categories & Sub-categories need to be organised better and sub-categories need to be put in alphabetical order.

Every aspect of website needs to be SEO optimised.

Loding time is to slow.

Meta information needs to be updated properly, i.e. each page needs to have a proper meta description as well as all relevant meta keywords so they can be found in search results.

Google Webmaster & Analytics accounts need to be set up and linked. A Sitemap needs to be created and submitted to all searchengines.

All requirements & tips given by Google Webmaster account need to be put into action.

It needs all info & policy pages such as About Us, Shipping & Returns, Contact Us, FAQ, Customer Reviews must be featured wherever & whenever possible.

Social accounts need to be created & maintained to capture free visitor traffic on social sharing sites.
