JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking to hire a full-time order fulfilment specialist for our fast growing eCommerce business where we specialize in the sale and installation support of mini off-grid, portable and emergency backup power.

You will be supporting our operations & customer service teams by fulfilling incoming orders, assisting with order follow ups and organizing large amounts of data across multiple spreadsheets.

Some of your day to day tasks will include:

- Order fulfilment & tracking number management
- Customer support and order updates via inbound and outbound calls
- Supplier follow ups
- Spreadsheet management, creation and organization
- Phone call and email management
- Fedex & UPS shipment coordination
- Administrative assistance

Following 2 weeks of training and shadowing, you will be fulfilling incoming orders, responding and coordinating with our vendors and responding to customer service emails. Our Fulfilment Specialist will work 5-6 days per week, 8 hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

- Order fulfillment for ecommerce channels.
- Manage and execute backend of Shopify store.
- Liaise with management and vendors as required.
- Customer service assistance via phone & email
- General admin tasks, such as data entry.
- Maintain and update relevant internal documentations.
- Monitor and update online inventory.
- Provide information by answering questions and requests.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Key requirements for the role:

- Proven admin or assistant experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent professional English skills, both written and interpersonal.
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in Google Drive / Sheets
- Minimum 1 year experience with Shopify.
- Excellent time management skills, Organized, able to multi-task and coordinate priorities.
- Positive personality, with excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills and able to troubleshoot independently and adapt to new technology.
- Quick learner and self-starter.

Bonus Experience:

- Order fulfillment experience is an asset.
- Experience with inventory management, forecasting and purchasing.
- Solar / renewable energy experience.
