JOB OVERVIEW

This is a permanent full-time, entry-level graduate position, within a telemedicine-based (since 2003) fertility clinic with headquarters in Sydney, Australia. We are open to the role being home-based from anywhere in the world. However, the successful applicant must be able to produce effective and reliable output while working unsupervised and be willing to be available for meetings within business hours in the GMT+10 timezone.

We are an award-winning integrative and naturopathic medicine-focused clinic - specializing in the treatment of infertility and recurrent miscarriage (through the implementation of an innovative and effective methodology) for couples who have been struggling to take home a healthy baby for more than 2 years and typically have experienced many failed treatments through standard therapy.

The person we are looking for will work closely with our founder and CEO (an established fertility specialist and author) to deliver various internal research and development projects and studies. Currently, we are looking for:

A minimum Masters in biostatistics, epidemiology, or applied statistics, or postgraduate qualification in one of these fields plus any relevant work experience;
Strong understanding of theory and methods relating to the design of epidemiological studies and the statistical analysis of health-related data, especially linked longitudinal data;
Demonstrated academic performance via transcripts;
Interests in healthcare survey construction and analysis, and/or research synthesis and meta-analysis, and/or understanding qualitative research coding and analysis are a major ---------- monstrated ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality when dealing with sensitive data and an understanding of ethical principles relating to privacy and confidentiality.
Substantially developed data analysis skills and experience in the use of several statistical ---------- monstrated ability to conceptualize novel research questions in areas relevant to reproductive epidemiology and public health research and to develop these into research outputs.
Evidence of developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships is essential.
