Creative Copywriter

We are a growing marketing firm looking for a Copywriter to join our team. The Copywriter will be responsible for producing engaging, clear text for different channels such as websites, print ads, social media, and emails. Must be able to write compelling marketing and promotional materials for a wide variety of products and services.

Some of our clients need a consistent brand voice and others need a one-time brochure, website, or other marketing material.

Ultimately the copy should inspire people to take action which is really the goal and focus of the promotional materials.

Responsibilities include:
- Write copy for a variety of media including social, print, video, and online
- Interpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy concepts
- Collaborating with the creative team to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials
- Stay current on trends and competitors
- See projects through the whole creative cycle, from inception to deployment

Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with an agency
- Experience producing copy for print and digital media channels
- Proven success in producing copy for advertising or marketing campaigns
- Creativity, adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
- Strong research skills
- Excellent portfolio of work

Hours:
This is a full-time job working US Eastern Standard Time hours.
Typical hours will be 9 am – 7 pm
