Primary Responsibilities of the Merchandise Planner
- Responsible for forecasting sales, margin, inventory goals, and ensuring weeks of stock and gross margin KPIs are met.
- Manage the inventory planning processes including category/assortment planning, open-to-buy, re-orders, clearance/markdowns, etc.
- Collaborate with buying team to determine business opportunities & with the e-comm team to develop web sales strategies.
- Increase inventory efficiency/turnover by developing buy plans.
- Projection sheet management and forecasting.
- Run reporting on bestsellers/worst sellers to determine reorders, transfers, and markdowns.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a planner
- Knowledge of retail math and forecasting
- Open to buy experience
- Superior at Microsoft Excel
- Must be available a minimum of 40 hours/week and work PST hours
