Elite Tutoring Academy is a Tutoring Center located in the United States. Must have a “can-do attitude” reliable and a problem solver who can use their initiative to find solutions to new challenges. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and possess exceptional written (good punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills.) and exceptional spoken English skills. Importantly the applicant must have a willingness to learn and the constant desire to improve yourself and exceed expectations. Excellent internet access is necessary. You should be able to manage your time wisely and produce high-quality work.
Web Developer/Designer & Marketing position will include but not limited to:
Web Developer:
- Front-end design using WordPress content management system
- Work with stakeholders to understand the vision and goals of Elite Tutoring Academy’s website
- Using their knowledge of programing to code websites and web applications
- Creating code for the front and back-end of a website
- Running tests to ensure that they used the correct code strings
- Build and optimize a secure web page for evolving business needs.
- Provide continued support for one or more web properties.
- Maintain communication with team members and supervisors concerning the direction of the website.
- Code and script applications.
- Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis.
- Provide ongoing site maintenance on WordPress including installing and maintaining plugins, technical SEO upgrades/fixes, and ad-hoc improvements based on regular website reporting
- Develop design strategy with a concentration on user experience, optimizing site for conversion
- Provide thought-leadership on web design best practices and next-generation digital trends
- Collaborate with the marketing team to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into the website
- Ensure website design, functionality, and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
- Manage other digital development projects (i.e. interactive sales tools) from scoping/requirements gathering, all the way through sign-off, QA, launch, and ongoing optimization
- Analyze the performance of website regularly and take action to rectify deficiencies
Marketing:
- Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
- Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target customers.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast).
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Social media graphics for all profiles:
- Ad design
- Landing pages
- Website design
- Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with our overall marketing campaign plan and channels.
- Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
- Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
- Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
- Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
- Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
- Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field.
- Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written, audio, and video format.
- Exceeds at building and maintaining relationships, online and off.
- Practices superior time management.
- Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
- Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
- Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research.
- Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
This is a full-time position, salary position, about 20 hours per week
