JOB OVERVIEW

We need you to help find people for jobs in the United States. Your job is to identify individuals through the Internet using any/all research and investigation techniques you can learn/find/invent. This is a job for a curious, resourceful and determined personality.

We're looking for someone (possibly) with experience in recruiting that is able to identify candidates through the use of available online resources including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn (among others). Our internal recruiting team needs quick turnaround from the time a job requisition is placed with us to the time they can begin outreach to potential candidates.

The role of this technical recruiting sourcing position will be to:

1. Quickly understand the core requirements for a job requisition and the associated skills for the core skill sets that we identify
2. Through ingenuity, research and networking relationships, you will identify individuals that are currently employed whose skills make them matches for our job requirements.
3. Obtain the name, contact information, social media information and current employment information for the individual and provide that information to our internal team. Resume a significant plus.

For example: we might be looking for a "business intelligence Hadoop developer with strong Java skills based in Seattle." You will research this through means you identify online (or invent) and find people who match these skills. You might use Twitter or personal blogs or LinkedIn. You'll compile relevant contact detail for individuals that satisfy the requirements and then hand them off to us.

This is a job that requires initiative, creativity and persistence. It requires tenacity and some "art" in terms of identifying paths to discovering talent that aren't being taken by the competition. "How" the requirements are met aren't as critical as the ability to deliver the names and contact information for appropriate individuals. We can tell you how this is done, but are really looking for the kind of person who can go online and figure it out. For some people this task would be a burden, for others (for our person) this is an exciting puzzle and challenge.

Significant bonuses apply for consistent volume and turnaround time of appropriate/accepted candidates.

Experience in sourcing a huge plus, but not an absolute requirement.

Part time okay. Hours are totally flexible.

IMPORTANT: We are going to try several different individuals for this job over a one week period initially. The strongest individuals will join our team as a monthly resource. It is critical, however, that the person we bring on shows the right personality traits in an initial "trial period."
