QA Software Engineer

Terra Schwartz, QA Software Engineer is a role part of an agile development team working on our web application.

This is a key role that will primarily be involved with testing our web application. The ideal candidate to join our core team is a software test engineer who can work autonomously or in small groups with other software/QA engineers when testing large scale features/items. They should have some VisualStudio/git experience to fetch code from our repo (or is not afraid to learn how to use the said tools for the testing process).

Responsibilities
- Formulation of test scenarios base on the information given for every work item.
- Participate in agile (Scrum) meetings (Daily Standup, Retrospective, Sprint Planning).
- Coordinate with QA-Lead about the quality of testing performed on each item.

Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (Sprint Board, Testing Board, Deployment Pipeline Approvals).
- SQL Knowledge (can perform/understand simple queries for data verification during testing).
- Test case creation/formulation (knowledgeable with formulation of several scenarios for each item to test).
- Knowledge of agile methodology practice.
- Knowledge of testing Web Application.

Knowledge about the following is a plus
- Git knowledge (fetching code from repo to perform local testing).
- Visual Studio knowledge (for local testing, executing minor EF script in consoles).
- Azure Portal Application Insight knowledge is a plus (know how to read logs on azure application insights).
- Automation testing knowledge using selenium is a plus.
