Email Marketing Specialist / CRM Specialist — Challenge, Inspire and Grow with us at Miss Amara!

Do you absolutely love email marketing and everything it entails? Are you obsessed with understanding the customer and showing them exactly the right message at the right time? We are looking for a superstar Email Marketing & CRM Specialist to help us transform the way rugs are sold online! This is a full-time role, working remotely and reporting into our Digital Marketing Manager based in Australia.

The role

We are looking for a stellar teaUpgrade to see actual infomber that can you write attention grabbing email copy that connects with people instantly and drives opens and clicks. If you write attention grabbing email copy then we'd love to hear from Upgrade to see actual info this newly created role, you will be responsible for driving the email marketing and CRM strategy across our four international markets and producing world class emails that stop customers in their tracks and create beautiful marketing Upgrade to see actual infonts. You will:

Be the driving force behind Miss Amara’s email strategy. This means completely owning core metrics such as email revenue, revenue per recipient, open rate, click rate and unsubscribe rate. This is a performance based role, so we want someone who is motivated to hit and exceed targets.
Build and refine email automation flows that go beyond simple Welcome Flows and Abandon Carts (although improving these will be a good starting point). Part of this role will be continuing to test and refine flows - no set and forget.
Own all scheduled EDM (campaign) blasts. This means planning them out (in collaboration with our Content Manager), creating and scheduling the emails.
Regularly run tests to determine highest performing variants, including email elements, calls to action, imagery and subject lines.
Work with our product teams to ensure high-priority stock is getting the appropriate exposure in our emails.
The successful candidate

Our new Email Marketing Specialist will have

At least 2 years experience in performance-based email marketing for eCommerce. Experience with Klaviyo is highly desirable.
Experience with copywriting.
A strong understanding of how digital marketing as a whole, including how to empathise with customers and inspire action.
Excellent communication skills, including communicating when briefs are unclear (and creating your own briefs), liaising with teaUpgrade to see actual infombers, identifying and communicating bottlenecks.
Strong prioritisation skills - you’re comfortable working with fast turnarounds and multiple stakeholders.
Technical CRM experience including contact tagging, segmenting, integrations, APIs and product feeds is highly desirable.
