Event Listings Clerk with CultureMap

CultureMap, an online-only media company in Texas, is looking for writers to help with event listings entry for the company’s extensive database. Writers will be responsible for editing event descriptions, writing descriptions when necessary, obtaining photos and other duties related to entering event listings.

Candidates must possess a great command of the English language, good writing and copy editing skills and ability to work quickly and efficiently. Candidates should have a college education and a minimum of one year working in media or related industry.

Access to consistent Internet connection is a necessity. Candidates will be expected to work every day Monday through Friday and check in with manager on a semi-daily basis. Hours are flexible as long as the work is completed on deadline.
