Software Engineer Web Developer

This is a fulltime home based position requiring you to work West Australian business
hours MonFri
8am5pm
GMT +8.
Please be aware this is a FULL TIME position. You are expected to be only working for
us and no other company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Oversee software development projects
* Architect and program cloud based systems
* Develop web GUI’s
* Develop APIs
* Directly communicate with Level 1 support staff
* Document software and system

Mandatory Education
* Tertiary / University Degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering.
* A copy of your certificate MUST be provided along with the scores you achieved in
each unit.

Mandatory Skills and Experience Required
You will be required to demonstrate these skills
* 2 years experience in designing and architecting software systems
* 3 years experience programming in web related technologies
* 3 years experience programming in PHP
* 2 years experience in Javascript
* Minimum 2 years experience in programming, administrating and database design in
MySQL
* 2 years programming experience in a procedural and object orientated languages
* 2 years experience programming with HTTP POST, HTTP GET API's
* 2 years experience programming with SOAP, JSON and restful API’s
* Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
* Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
* Fast learner of new technologies
* Ability to prioritise tasks and reschedule tasks to meet with deadlines and changes in
customer priorities
* Ability conduct R&D on new technologies and how they can best help MondoTalk
* Attention to detail to ensure minimal bugs are coded into software systems
* Work well with remote technologies and teleconferences

Highly regarded skills
* Experience programming in C++/Java/RoR/Python
* Experience with VoIP.
* Team management and leadership skills

Required Hardware and Services
* You need to have an Internet connection of at least 1.5Mbps down and 0.5 up.
* It is preferable if you have a backup internet connection.
* You own computer, laptop preferred.
