Architectural Building Illustrator and Designer

Our work involves drafting architectural plans to the Development Approval
stage for grouped housing and apartment developments in Perth. All relevant
Western Australian design rules will be provided to the draftsman by Yaran,
to ensure the design is compliant with design codes.

Applicants will be able to complete:
Full Development Application drawings (examples can be provided),
site plans, internal and external Illustrations and elevations, and
any other drawings as requested by the council.

The successful candidates are likely to have the following qualifications and experience:
• Ability to design very attractive buildings externally and prepare amazing 3D illustrations;
• Qualifications in architecture or architectural drafting;
• At least 5 years’ experience in the architectural design of grouped housing developments
and apartments
• Ability to draw or output designs in AutoCAD and Revit; and

• Pictorial portfolio of work completed in the past, particularly external building illustrations;
• Full resume in English outlining qualifications and experience;
• References or testimonials from past clients, and contact details of references Yaran can approach;
• Usual hourly rates charged and whether willing to provide a fixed quote to design and
prepare illustrations and plans for Development Approval; and
• Availability on an ongoing basis
