RESEARCH GRANT WRITER with Excellent English Skills Needed - Training, Paid Vacation, PH Work Hours

We're seeking outstanding individuals who can work full-time for the development, writing, editing and submission of grant proposals focused on genetics, neuroscience, and human behavior research. Areas of focus are Alzheimer’s disease, mental health, cancer and neurological disorders. We seek to develop grants for the NIH, NSF, DOD and Major Foundations. We are willing to mentor and teach individuals how to write effective grants and provide major support.

Applicants should have biomedical research experience (Masters or PhD) and excellent communication skills. Salary increases are possible depending on effectiveness. A former graduate student who d ---------- not pursuit academic science, but is seeking an alternative career in academic research could be a good fit. Experience grant writers are also welcome.

What will you be doing?

You will be writing grants for a world leading principal investigator in genomics, epigenomics and deep phenotypic analyses of complex behavior patterns. Recipient of the Eppendorf & Science Prize in Neurobiology, the NYSCF Robertson-Neuroscience Investigator award. Work selected as a top breakthrough of the year by the NIMH in 2010 and again in 2018 by STAT.

You'll need to have excellent written and verbal English skills and your written English will need to be indistinguishable from a native English speaker. You will need to be familiar with and work in Microsoft Word as well as a quick learner who is not intimidated by new challenges. We're looking for individuals who can function at a very high level and can identify and address challenges without constant supervision. Excellent/perfect English is a requirement.

You should have an advanced degree in a related field.
You'll also need a good computer and high-speed internet.
