Job Summary

We’re looking for a team member with a passion for creating positive first impressions and a desire to deliver personalized and helpful caller experiences, as well as building trust and confidence in The Shed Drum Shop. The sales representative should be proficient at working remotely, creating sales materials, developing and maintaining rapport with customers, and explaining the benefits of products and services. The ideal candidate provides a great customer experience and increases business revenue by sales, customer support, and retention. This position requires impeccable communication and the ability to handle tense situations. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt to change and have a commitment to sales and customer service excellence. Successful candidates value positive and healthy relationships and will have a growth mindset, which continuously demonstrates the capability to close sales. Key success factors include the capacity to learn, adapt, collaborate, thrive in a team environment, as well as work alone.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
• Willing to work during USA Eastern Standard Time hours (12:00 PM to 7:00PM)
• Contact potential customers through cold calling, emailing, to set up appointments and follow-ups
• Must be resilient and committed to sales of both company products and services to new and existing customers
• Inbound/outbound calls and emails assisting customers in making the right purchases
• Quickly determine the nature of objections and responds
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and pl ----------
• Create marketing and sales materials and complete tasks thoroughly in a timely manner

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, and/or music related fields
• Intermediate knowledge of Musical Instruments sold within The Shed (Percussion, Wind and Fretted Instruments, Pro-Audio, Tech, etc.)
• Approachable, genuine, knowledgeable, encouraging, and passionate about helping customers
• Able to learn quickly and take positive action without being requested to do so
• Ability to communicate through various means (written and verbal) with diverse individuals including internal and external stakeholders at all levels in a clear, concise, positive, and courteous manner
• Organizational Skills: Able to utilize time, energy, and resources to stay on track and achieve goals
• Ability to multitask and pay strong attention to detail in a fast-paced and high-urgency environment
• Results driven, detail-oriented and committed to meeting individual and team goals and deadlines
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and Excel)
• Office experience in the music industry is a plus
