Full Stack developer in Web and Mobile

The Opportunity – Full Stack developer.

What you will be doing:

Software engineering is a critical component of our business, and the full-stack developer will play a central role in our ability to create a product users love. You’ll be:
• Continuously collaborating with the product manager and designer – from discovery to delivery – and be deeply oriented around real users and the value the product brings to them.
• Evaluating and selecting technologies that will support the business now and in the future.
• Working across this entire stack to develop new web and native products, features, and tools for our users.
• Writing automated tests for the product to ensure quality and to deliver regular stable releases
• Upholding high engineering standards and continuously analyzing, evaluating and bringing consistency to the code-bases and processes you work with.
• Participating in regular retrospectives to help improve the efficiency of the rest of the team.

Have the following essential attributes:
• A solid foundation in multiple technologies: Android, iOS, Windows, AWS.
• Will really help to have knowledge in using PcSoft (IDE & W-Language coding), but not essential
• Requires that you have an excellent computer system and very good internet.
• Good experience in writing clear, concise code.
• Beliefs testing is by no means an afterthought
• Believes in security and protecting the systems and data is paramount for our clients.
• You’re comfortable with a high degree of uncertainty. There’s a lot we still don’t know, and we’ll be figuring it out together.
• You have an appetite for constant discovery and improvement.
• You measure your work. You know how to plan a development project and you understand how to leverage data to learn and improve quickly by executing against a plan.
• Gets excited about rapid iteration and understands the importance of a short feedback loop
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business.

What you will learn:
• You will learn how to use our tools and get a crash course in using 5th GL programming.
• There may not be much code to write for the first month or two as we’ll be collaborating on product discovery activities, including framing, planning, ideas, prototyping and testing with real users every week.
