Job Summary
Accountant is responsible for managing and reporting of financial information for an organization. Generally responsible for different accountancy areas . This can include financial accounting and management accounting. Preparation, review and analysis of financial statements.
Job Description
Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
Examining expenses submitted by employees
Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
Creating company financial reports with the above information included
Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organize data
Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
Preparing Individual Income Tax Returns with and without Rental Properties
Preparing Tax Planning Figures and Analysis
Preparing Fringe Benefits income tax returns
Job Qualification
3 to 5 years - Australian Taxation Experience
Work week: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
CPA or CA qualification is desirable but not required
High level of organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving skills combined with a strong ability to prioritize tasks
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to learn new programs quickly
