Skills Required:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and knowledge in programming language (VB.net, Java)
• Healthcare Knowledge - Knowledge of healthcare information systems preferred. Some travel may be required.
• Customer Service - Since such a large chunk of an Implementation Specialist’s time will be spent directly interacting with clients, it’s important for them to have excellent customer service skills.
• Extensive Technical Knowledge – In order to be able to meet each client’s needs and install each system correctly, Implementation Specialists need to have a great deal of technical knowledge and experience.
• Ability to Multitask – The goal of providing good customer service is to make each client feel like they’re the only customer that matters. If an Implementation Specialist is able to multitask and juggle different projects simultaneously, they’ll be able to achieve that.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists external clients in the implementation of the software product, hardware or solutions.
• Provides in-depth product training and end-user support during and after the implementation process.
• Initiates the implementation process as quickly as possible for the new clients.
• Assess client needs, talk with the client to get the detailed picture of what they want and needs.
• Defines and executes on delivery and implementation plans.
• Demonstrate the system and its features to the client
• May be involved in pre-sales product demonstrations or provide assistance in scoping projects or developing proposals.
