Video/Vlog Editor

We are seeking a video and/or vlog editor. This job is full-time (30 - 40 hours a week) with the opportunity to work on other tasks that aren’t exclusively video editing. Hours are flexible. Video editing will be about half of work. Other tasks can include uploading the videos to YouTube, social media, repurposing videos into other forms of content, ---------- ndidates must:
Be very skilled in their understanding of English and skilled in video editing
Use Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve, or another video editing software similar to those
Have a fast turnaround time for edits, work quickly, and have the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
Have the fastest available high-speed internet connection
Be available to work full-time
Check in daily, both before working and after working
Use 1Password on all devices and accounts pertaining to our business
Use/be willing to use Google Drive and Trello (this is where we organize all the tasks to be done)
Be motivated, productive, nice, willing to learn, and creative

Editing skills most needed include: adding music, adjusting sound, transitions, jump cuts, speeding up footage, adjusting brightness of clips, adding b-roll, adding text.

Other skills that aren’t necessary but would be helpful include: YouTube experience (uploading, seo, thumbnails, etc.), Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, making graphics.

We are looking for someone who is willing to edit vlogs and tutorial videos. We are looking for someone who is artistic, creative, motivated to work, and productive.

We create artist vlogs and painting tutorials with a light-hearted, personal feel. We need your help and artist vision to make the videos creative, personal, and fun to watch and learn ---------- ndidates must be available approximately for 5 hours, 2 days a week for video editing. For most weeks, she/he will edit one painting tutorial and one vlog. The other 3 days of the week he/she will have the opportunity to work on tasks based on his/her skills and passions. Some examples: Instagram Reels, social media scheduling and graphics, Pinterest, etc.

We are in Eastern Standard Time Zone and would need to overlap time zones at least one day a week for a check in meeting on Skype/Zoom - probably late evening Filipino time (9 or 10 PM).

Candidates must submit examples of their previous work as well as a small project (for which you would be compensated) that would be assigned to you as your trial. And he/she must be willing to do a Skype or Zoom interview.
