This role will have significant scope to put your own stamp on the business, with opportunities to grow and develop, with the required mixture of support and flexibility along the way.
The Role:
Working closely with the Managing Director and Sales & Marketing Executive to proactively deliver incremental revenue through targeting SME-Mid tier customers within the ecommerce sector. Working initially part-time, the business development executive will qualify and engage effectively with prospective companies and support with the inside sales channel.
Requirements
• Must speak and write excellent English.
• Working hours are flexible, but some overlap needed with UK times.
• Must have a good sense of humour
• Must come with some track record of experience - this isn't an entry-level role
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work and learn autonomously
• Experience working for a marketplace/in ecommerce is desirable but not required
Key Responsibilities
• Prospecting new lead opportunities through Upwork initially based on project posted
• Qualifying new leads
• Approaching outbound leads through
• Lead generation through Upwork and similar platforms
• Booking calls, meetings and updating our CRM system (Hubspot) with all sales activity
• General CRM maintenance
• Supporting the sales team in creation of sales decks and sales engineering material
• Come up with creative and proactive ideas to improve sales
• Regular updates on campaign performance
