Job Opportunity: Virtual Assistant Bookkeeper (Part-Time, 14 Hours/Week)

Are you a detail-oriented and switched-on bookkeeper with a knack for numbers and a passion for helping small businesses thrive? Women with Altitude is seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team for two full days a week or approx 12 hours a week - ( we are flexible with times)

What We’re Looking For:
We need someone who’s not just great at bookkeeping but can also provide valuable insights into our finances, helping us identify opportunities and deficits. If you’re proactive, knowledgeable, and love working with numbers, we want to hear from you!

The Role Includes:
• Performing Xero reconciliation and providing accurate financial reporting.
• Understanding the numbers behind a small business and offering actionable insights.
• Knowledge of Australian tax law, GST, and BAS preparation.
• Familiarity with Stripe and Membership Works (training can be provided for Membership Works).
• Supporting us in analysing financial trends and identifying areas for improvement.

What You Bring:
• Proven bookkeeping experience, particularly with small businesses.
• Proficiency in Xero and a solid understanding of financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Australian tax law and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to spot financial deficits or opportunities.
• Experience with Stripe and membership platforms (preferred but not essential).
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

Position Details:
Part-Time: 12 hours per week
Remote Role: Work from the comfort of your own space.
Training Provided: For Membership Works platform, if required.
