Acquisitions Editor Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities
• The Acquisitions editor is responsible for making outbound calls to authors and artists.
Qualifications
• This position requires completion of a minimum of two years in college or completion of any four year college degree.
• At least 1 year outbound sales experience is required.
• This position requires excellent English communication and comprehension skills.
• Experience in an administrative, office work is an advantage.
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to work with no supervision.
• Must be self-motivated and self-driven.
Skills and Knowledge requirements
• Must be adept in Microsoft applications such as:
– Microsoft Word
-Excel
– Powerpoint.
