A Canadian recruiting company is looking to expand into the construction industry.

We are looking for a full time Recruiter to successfully uncover and recruit active and passive talent for our clients, you will utilize advanced Internet search tactics and prioritize. You will be responsible in supporting our strategic sourcing initiatives to develop a network of the best talent with in-demand skills and experiences. Your number one priority will be constructing a pipeline of available candidates.

Required Experience:

Construction related recruiting background. Ability to work with account executives and candidates to successfully recruit candidates with required skillsets and experience. Experience in recruiting in the Canadian marketplace will be considered an asset. The recruiter will have experience sourcing candidates using all methods that include and are not limited to cold calling, electronic media including advanced Boolean search techniques, social media, and networking electronically.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Expertly manage the recruitment lifecycle with a hunter’s mentality, sourcing quality candidates for a range of skill sets in the construction and engineering industries.

- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to propel the shared service recruiting group to the next level, serving multiple agendas and timelines.

- Work directly with senior leaders and partner with HR groups in varying locations.

- Drive best-in-class processes and systems while advancing automation along the way.

- Maintain a broad network of active and passive candidates, utilizing social media and innovative technology tools.

Compensation:

For this position we will provide a salary plus a commission and is based on experience. Those with no experience in recruiting in the Canadian construction and engineering industry need not apply.
