Web Designer

Front-End Web Designer, you'll be expected to design and develop WordPress websites from requirements using a predefined set of tools. You'll also be responsible for designing wireframes, mockups, and high fidelity prototypes, code HTML and CSS, work collaboratively with clients, managers, and other designers, and take an active role in the full web design process.

Responsibilities

Design / develop WordPress websites from requirements
Design / develop other online marketing materials
Review, manage, support, and update existing code to websites
Update WordPress themes & perform client edits
Perform website maintenance for clients
Collaborate with sales and account management teams
Understand and utilize best practices for on-page SEO
Test cross-browser / platform functionality
Understand ---------- syntax for structured data
Familiar with MySQL and SQL database infrastructure
Selecting color and typographical elements for marketing effectiveness
Creating layouts based on customer needs

Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in web design, website maintenance, marketing, and WordPress theme development
2+ years developing websites (including WordPress)
Experience with HTML5/CSS3 and CSS3
Experience with responsive design
Familiarity with the current and future technologies in the online space such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Internet search engine profiles, and schema.
Proficiency using Figma or Adobe XD
Proficiency using photoshop
Fluent in English

Big Pluses
Entry-level knowledge of SEO (Content, Technology, and Authority)
Experience managing clients directly (Solid Customer service/expectation experience)
